方法就是進行定型烘干處置，以解除木包裝內部應力，使防腐木包裝的內部含水率≤13%。蒸汽窯烘干或真空窯烘干是比擬幻想的處置方法，其根本道理是在規范窯里給木包裝加以必然的濕度(軟化木包裝外表)，分時分段用恰當的高溫把木包裝芯部的水分逼出來。防腐處置前的基材進行烘干，既能確保防腐劑有用成分的接收，又能使用木包裝內部的應力，改善木包裝的變形與開裂景象;防腐處置后的木包裝因為防腐液經加壓進入木包裝內部(全濕透)，需進行二次烘干(但要經陰干后，以使防腐劑有用成分固著在木包裝內部)含水率≤13%，以再次使用防腐木包裝剩余的內部應力、不變尺寸、大水平地改善防腐木包裝的開裂現象。
